The experience of volunteering can be wonderful. It is beneficial not only for the organization you help, but for you as well which makes you a wiser, more appreciative, and better person. And our Campus has indeed kept this tradition to encourage our students to try volunteering, and share their volunteering stories.

Quite recently, the Summit of Emerging Electronic Materials and Devices and the Symposium on Low-Dimensional Material Application and Standardization 2020 were just concluded in Wuxi, with 30 students from SEU Wuxi Campus volunteering to this great event.

Now let’s look back at the best shots from them and read some of their stories.

VOLUNTEERING: STORIES & GOOD REASONS TO VOLUNTEER

Love to be passed

I've done many volunteering roles over the years and this one stood out for me the most for the leadership role I acted and the achievement I made in giving instructions, and effective coordination with help from my like-minded teammates. I definitely recommend volunteering wherever you get a chance to do more for the society we live in.

Lead to meeting

It gave me a huge sense of excitement and accomplishment because it was my first volunteering experience. I felt like I was helping my community and it made me really proud. More importantly, it's so great that I developed friendship with some boys or girls like me.

To help is to be helped

I am so glad that I chose to volunteer with this three-day long event. Helping out on that event was an amazing experience and thoroughly rewarding. It was like having a different trip to learn more about personal pursuit and I was really very happy to be part of something so inspiring and challenging.
