Zhang Jiwen, vice executive president of SEU Wuxi campus represented the campus to Politecnico di Torino, POLIT for short, talking over the programs engaging exchanging undergraduates, postgraduate double degree and the proposal to run a collaborative educational project in a meeting.

Bernardino Chiaia, vice president of POLIT, said architectural design, machinery manufacture and telecommunication are three of the most important disciplines developed in POLIT, the oldest Italian science and engineering university. The three of them are included into the world top 100 directions. POLIT, he emphasized in his speaking, did expect a cooperation with SEU around the fields mentioned above and get hands together for the first-rate institution and discipline cause.
Zhang concluded the event with an invitation made for the POLIT delegation to further their discussions with Southeast University Wuxi Campus as well as the local government in Wuxi in early 2017.
Meanwhile, Nanjing-based schools and departments such as the Architecture School, School of Information Science and Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering and the International Office were present in Italy for the conference as well.
