Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI for short) wrapped up a meeting in SEU Wuxi Campus on June 10th, and a string of its affiliates got a framework agreement signed to erect a collaborative innovation center with the university and the well-developed local brand, Hodo Group.

About 30 officials, experts and professors representing JITRI, its branch institutes in areas of remote sensing, intelligent IC design, semiconductor packaging, digital manufacturing, advanced composites, Hodo and SEU’s schools of Wuxi campus, microelectronics, information science & engineering, cyberspace security, instrument science & engineering, were present in the event, including Gao Jun, assistant director of JITRI, Hao Yongsheng, deputy director of SEU scientific research institute, Shi Longxing, SEU professor also the head of JITRI ASIC research institute, Party secretaries and vice president of SEU Wuxi Campus.
They discussed their cooperation areas from the platform building, talent training, technology transfer, project application, etc. A deal was made among the participants that this center would have 40 or so doctoral and master students entered in 2020. They all hoped to run a sustained relation between them and keep expanding their cooperation areas in the future.
